Participants will learn the Car Accident set-up, which is useful to help clients who have experienced an automobile accident to resolve PTSD. This practice allows the client’s body/brain to know that the traumatic incident is not occurring in present time, thereby reducing hyper vigilance. This seminar will address various PTSD assessments, symptoms of PTSD, as well as vagus nerve exercises clients can use while driving to lower anxiety. Jen learned this set up a decade ago from consultant, Cindy J. Smith, LCSW, who in turn learned in from Dr. David Grand.
Jennifer Delaney, LPC- Promoting the benefits of Brainspotting, complemented by body-centered skills, mindful meditation, and parts work, Jennifer Delaney, MA, LPC speaks regularly to local and international organizations and at both International Brainspotting Conferences. She teaches the Attachment Spotting Specialty Training twice a year. She maintains an informative channel on YouTube and a bi-monthly blog at jenniferdelaney.com. She specializes in treating professionals healing from the effects of childhood trauma and car accident victims with PTSD. A former professional dancer, she takes company classes for self-care and joy.
