Christie is an ordained Buddhist lay teacher, a licensed professional counselor for Tennessee and Mississippi, and a seasoned Brainspotting practitioner since 2013. Currently a Board Member for the Southeast Brainspotting Institute, she is also founder of the Body Justice Brainspotting peer practice group, dedicated to weight inclusive care. She offers resources for Mindful Recovery from chronic dieting, disordered eating and body-focused obsession via The Beautiful Human app, available on Apple and Google Play Stores.
