We ask for donations to support our work to promote mental health through Brainspotting, provide educational opportunities for members, and through our Scholarship Treatment Fund, we pay for Brainspotting therapy for individuals who do not have health insurance or the means to pay for therapy.

Andre’a Kirkland, LPC, Steps 2 Hope Wellness Center

I work with individuals using a variety of modalities to help guide them toward their purpose and make their mark, especially when they feel disconnected from themselves. “I know where I want to be in life, but I just can’t seem to get there... Will therapy even work for me?... I feel like a piece of the puzzle is missing, now what?... I’m running out of time to change... I don’t know who to trust.” These thoughts, fueled by fear, doubt, and shame, can keep us isolated and uncertain, interfering with our pursuit of self-improvement.

When something feels off or you're stuck, it's often due to unresolved emotions or beliefs blocking your path. Fear and doubt may lead you to question whether therapy can help.

Through Brainspotting, we access deeper layers of your mind to uncover the root causes of these feelings. By focusing on specific eye positions, we activate your brain’s natural healing process to release trapped emotions and memories.

This process allows you to safely explore what’s holding you back, helping you move forward with clarity and self-trust. My somatic approach combined with Brainspotting helps you understand how emotions impact your body, allowing you to reconnect with your true self and take meaningful steps toward your goals.
