Lisa Aweida-Ross, Psy.D.

Brainspotting (BSP) is a healing method that has transformed my work with clients. It allows clients to access their personal wisdom and strengths, feel emotions held deep within the body, and release or let go of what is no longer needed. Brainspotting highlights the brains ability to change.

I have been licensed as a psychologist since 1996, and have over 30 years of experience doing psychotherapy. I provide a comfortable, safe, environment for psychotherapy that blends warmth, humor, compassion and interactive conversation. I work with adults in individual psychotherapy.

I can help you develop fulfilling relationships, process difficult emotions and overcome excessive worry. Healing family of origin issues can be liberating, helping people moving forward and promoting resiliency. I can help you recover from anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, abuse, chronic health problems and chronic pain. My goal is to help you change your relationship with fear, let go of emotions and behaviors that are not serving you any more, and help to heal your brain so that you can arrive at personal insights and practical solutions that will enrich your life.

I am a Certified Brainspotting therapist and have been involved with Brainspotting for decades now.  I have completed levels 1-3 of BSP training, the Intensive BSP workshop and a few Master Classes with David Grand.

I am also a Brainspotting Consultant.  If you are a therapist taking the Brainspotting trainings Levels 1 & 2 and are interested in becoming Certified as a Brainspotting therapist I can help.  I am available to work with you to complete the consultation sessions needed.

I am passionate about my work and would love to speak with you if you have any questions. Please call 303-413-1600 or email me at [email protected].
