As a Spanish-speaking, non-traditional student at Liberty University, it is my honor to serve a diverse population with a variety of mental health related concerns through Brainspotting. While currently not licensed to practice as a counselor in Virginia, I am honored to volunteer my time as a Brainspotting professional among colleagues in the counseling profession and as directed by my mentors through appropriate disclosure and scope of practice. Thank you for being brave enough to share your healing journey with me!

When needed, she provides mental health and substance use disorder evaluations to the court. If additional investigation is requested, she is certified to work as a Guardian ad Litem to protect the best interests of children.

I will join you on your own personal journey, helping you find peace and help you build a life worth living. I focus on balancing acceptance (this is really how life is right now) with change (you have to try different things to get the life you want) I also will harness the power of behavior change to move you closer to your goals, even when your goals seem unattainable; it is my job to understand how hard it is to change and to simultaneously push you to keep you moving forward. I believe that the therapy relationship is a real relationship between equals; this means that the work in therapy is carried out by both of us-together. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I offer structured individual therapy, I facilitate a healthy coping skills group, as well as a process group. I offer skills coaching and I am part of a consultation team filled with other practitioners also trained in DBT. Whether we are addressing trauma, self destructive coping behaviors, addictions, depression or other mood related difficulties, relationship complications, intimacy barriers etc. You can expect a warm, empathetic and safe environment to allow your process to unfold. I draw from multiple modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Exposure Therapies, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, and other Emotionally and Attachment focused approaches. I have also worked extensively with addictions, providing substance use treatment and assessments.
