Caidin T. Smith, LCSW (AuDHD gay trans guy)

While I welcome individuals from all walks of life, my practice is a specialized, affirming space for communities I am deeply passionate about supporting. As an AuDHD, gay trans guy, my clinical work is profoundly informed by both specialized training and my own lived experience.

I offer a deeply resonant, lived understanding of:

LGBTQ+, Trans, Nonbinary, & Gender-Diverse Individuals: I provide a celebratory, deeply affirming space to explore gender identity, sexuality, and self-discovery. Having navigated my own transition and queer identity, I understand the unique joy, grief, and societal pressures of this journey from the inside out.

Neurodivergent Folks: I specialize in supporting ADHDers, autistic individuals, and AuDHDers. I know how exhausting neurotypical expectations can be, and I love helping folks unmask, build self-compassion, and design a life that actually works for their nervous system.

Athletes & High Performers: Helping you navigate the intense pressures of competition, sports performance, injury recovery, burnout, and finding an identity beyond the scoreboard.

Veterinary & Helping Professionals: Supporting veterinarians, vet techs, and animal welfare staff navigating the heavy weight of compassion fatigue, moral injury, and burnout.

Therapy with me is a collaborative space to explore, heal, and grow. I support clients navigating a variety of challenges, including:

Healing & Recovery: Trauma, PTSD, chronic stress, and navigating complex family and relational dynamics.

Neurodivergence: masking/unmasking, societal pressures and expectations, nervous system regulation, relationships

Performance: sports performance, occupational stress, managing major life transitions.

Identity, Sex, & Relationships: Sexuality, gender exploration, navigating romantic and peer relationships including ethical non-monogamy, and offering a sex-positive, kink-allied, and non-judgmental space.

Emotional Well-being: Anxiety, panic, and mood-related challenges (including depression and bipolar disorder).

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. The mind-body connection is undeniable, and I believe that a somatic, body-centered approach is crucial to healing trauma, managing burnout, and regulating the nervous system.
