Mag. Monika Baumann is a Licensed clinical and health Psychologist, Licensed systemic family therapist with a private practice in Vienna, Austria. She is a Senior Brainspotting Trainer and Consultant under contract with Brainspotting Trainings, LLC, the international Brainspotting company founded by David Grand. Additionally, she spends several weeks a year in Paraguay, devoting her time and expertise to humanitarian projects. Together with Dr. Martha S. Jacobi, she developed the training “Brainspotting for Children and Adolescents”. She later expanded the original training concept into a three-day training and holds it worldwide. In 2020, she published a book sharing her practical experience in context with Brainspotting theory: “Brainspotting with Children and Adolescents: An attuned treatment approach for effective brain-body healing”. Since February 2022, she is also deeply involved in an international project to help people affected by the war in Ukraine (Brainspotting HELP).
