Description
Practitioner Name:
Nina Clark Ericson, Ph.D.
I have extensive experience treating people struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, grief, parenting issues, addiction, people-pleasing, and major life transitions. I specialize in helping couples who are having trouble dealing with conflict or wanting to enhance their relationship. I help individuals process and heal old wounds and develop coping skills to deal with life’s stressors. I use Brainspotting, a cutting edge treatment, to help people process and move past both big and little traumas. I am curious and accepting of my clients, and create a safe, collaborative, and productive relationship with them.
I specialize in helping couples improve their communication and connection, primarily using Dr. John Gottman’s model, which has been shown to transform relationships and enhance intimacy. Also, I help people cut through their mind’s chatter (often filled with self-criticism) to find their authentic inner voice. Life can be stressful, and difficult past experiences can be obstacles to living a life you love. I help you resolve painful experiences and transform old patterns in order to help you create a happier, more peaceful life.
In addition, I do personal and executive coaching, helping people with various challenges such as finding the right partner, dealing with work stresses, and improving health.
