My goal as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker is to facilitate compassionate healing in a safe, supportive, & respectful environment. To alleviate client suffering through Integrative Modified-EMDR Psychotherapy that is customized to the client’s unique situation & needs. My focus is on helping people heal from psychological wounds that are connected to trauma and loss.
My areas of expertise are in the areas of treating survivors of PTSD, acute & complex, and Grief & Loss.
I am certified trained in EMDR Therapy, Brainspotting (phase-1), and IADC Grief Therapy (Induced After-Death Communication).
IADC (Grief) Therapy was developed by Allan L. Botkin, Ph.D., in 1995. It is a modified form of EMDR that focuses on reducing the intense grief-related sadness and unresolved issues that may be blocking a person’s receptivity to an ADC. By processing this sadness, it induces a receptivity to an experiential reconnection with their deceased loved one, which can have a profound healing effect for the bereaved client. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Louisiana – # 7754.
