Kaylee Torno, MA, LPC, NCC
I’m Kaylee Torno, MA, LPC, NCC and the founder of WayForward Counseling & Consulting. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver and have over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families as a licensed therapist and professional school counselor.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of their next steps. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and emotional overwhelm. Therapy offers a space to slow down, better understand your story, and begin finding practical ways forward.
Together, we work to uncover patterns, build self-trust, develop effective coping tools, and move through overthinking, self-doubt, perfectionism, and pressure — without having to push harder, pretend everything is fine, or figure it all out alone.
I provide a supportive space for teens developing identity, emotional awareness, and coping skills; young adults adjusting to independence, relationships, and change; and adults seeking clarity, balance, or renewed direction in their personal or professional lives.
Taking the first step toward counseling can feel uncertain, but it’s also an act of courage and self-care. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning after some time, I’m here to make the process feel comfortable and collaborative from the very beginning. If you’re ready to begin your way forward, I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation. I look forward to connecting with you.
