Attuned Gaze, Rhythmic Repair: The Neurobiology & Practice of Harmonic Brain Healing
“Attuned Gaze, Rhythmic Repair: The Neurobiology & Practice of Harmonic Brain Healing'” with Cynthia Schwartzberg, LCSW
July 24th, 2026 from 12-1:30PM Mountain Time
Recording Available; CEs pending
Join Cynthia as we introduce Harmonic Brain Healing, which builds from the Brainspotting foundation by adding rhythmic counting and client-crafted preferred endings. We will open a window for memory reconsolidation and invite durable change. We’ll briefly map why memories get “stuck” (scan-path replay, rhythm disruption, rigid somatic patterns) and how HBH’s four elements layer prediction error to shift the system toward harmony. Clinical demos (e.g., highway anxiety, grief, OCD loops) will be used to show how to titrate counts, keep agency in client language, and use imagery to install new motor-emotional scripts without lengthy exposure.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Define the four elements of Harmonic Brain Healing and how they complement Brainspotting
- Understand how rhythmic counting interrupts replay and entrains regulation
- Define when to deploy Harmonic Brain Healing for intrusive images, freeze patterns, and “stuck” beliefs
- Understand how memory reconsolidation is applied to Harmonic Brain Healing
