Elly Nygren Szapiro, MA, LPC is a psychotherapist and Brainspotting consultant. Elly has been a psychotherapist for about 50 years; a Brainspotter for 19 years; and a meditator for 57 years. Her psychotherapy practice has been an expression of her love for working with people, as well as her life-long devotion to spiritual exploration and healing. Elly has an MA in Buddhist and Western Psychology and is former faculty at The Naropa University. She is also trained as a Nondual psychotherapist and Nondual spiritual teacher. Her specialties include: spirituality and healing, ‘Highly Sensitive Person,’ trauma, abuse, PTSD, women’s issues, creativity development and stepfamilies. Elly brings a deep sense of Presence and a sense of humor to her work.
