My approach to psychotherapy is highly eclectic and flexible. I try to meet the client where s/he is emotionally and tailor my approach as needed as the therapy unfolds. I am regularly attending more trainings and trying to add more tools to my toolbox. Brainspotting is a wonderful addition to my overall education and approach to psychotherapy.

I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York in 2004. During my graduate studies, I worked at the NYU Child Study Center as the intake coordinator for the Family Studies Program and received training in marriage and family therapy from senior clinicians at the Ackerman Institute.

In 2004, I moved to Houston, Texas, where I worked for six years at the Tarnow Center. At this interdisciplinary practice, I collaborated with a diverse group of clinicians. In 2011, I relocated to Ra’anana, Israel, and began working at Machon Shinui, which specializes in change-focused therapy and marriage and family therapy and I also established a private practice in Raanana.
I teach a course in the Humanistic Psychotherapy Program at The Israel Academic College in Ramat Gan, focusing on facilitating the therapeutic alliance when working with couples and families.
I am trained in Change-Focused Therapy, Imago Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. My specialties include the treatment of anxiety, depression, marital challenges, family relationship difficulties (including between parents and adult children), and trauma. I work with adolescents and adults, as well as couples and families. I am fluent in both Hebrew and English and have extensive experience working with couples from diverse cultural backgrounds.
I enjoy integrating my training in Brainspotting with other modalities and find that it adds a wonderful way to process thoughts, feelings, memories, and calm down the nervous system.
