As the founder of Ashley Hudson Therapy in Orange County, CA, she is dedicated to empowering individuals navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, sports performance anxiety, body image issues, trauma, and relational conflicts. A Yorba Linda native, Ashley played Division 1 collegiate softball at UC Davis, giving her firsthand insight into the demands and pressures athletes face. Her early career included coaching high school softball and volunteering at a local group home, sparking her passion for supporting young athletes. With a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, Ashley’s practice incorporates Brainspotting and CBT, highly effective therapeutic modalities for athletes dealing with mental blocks, performance pressures, and self-doubt. At Ashley Hudson Therapy, the team offers both in-person and telehealth counseling throughout Orange County, utilizing an eclectic, client-centered approach that adapts to individual needs. Rooted in attachment and strength-based frameworks, their practice supports children, teens, and young adults, with a focus on mental health issues that commonly affect athletes, including sports anxiety, recovery from injuries, teammate conflicts, and identity shifts related to retirement from sports.
