“Attunement and Limbic Countertransference” with Cynthia Schwartzberg, LCSW
In today’s fast-paced world, the ability to remain truly attuned to our clients is more crucial than ever. Attunement lies at the heart of effective therapy, fostering a profound connection that allows clients to feel seen, heard, and understood. But what happens when our own nervous systems respond to our clients’ distress? This is where understanding limbic countertransference becomes essential. In this seminar, we will explore the concept of limbic countertransference—where our emotional systems mirror our clients’ experiences, as well as when ours triggers theirs.
This seminar isn’t just theoretical; it’s deeply practical. In addition to witnessing Cynthia’s live demonstration on clearing limbic countertransference, you’ll engage in experiential exercises designed to enhance your attunement skills, helping you stay present and connected even in the most challenging moments. Whether you’re new to these concepts or seeking to refine your skills, this seminar will leave you with actionable insights and renewed confidence in your ability to support your clients.
