Setting the Frame with Young Ones or Young Inner Parts to Provide Deep Brainspotting Processing
“Setting the Frame with Young Ones or Young Inner Parts to Provide Deep Brainspotting Processing” with Mag. Monika Baumann
March 13th, 2026 from 12-1:30PM Mountain Time
Recording Available; 1.5 CEs PENDING
This webinar supports practitioners in taking first steps using Brainspotting with young ones and young inner parts. Participants will learn how to “set the frame” by meeting clients where they are developmentally. By “jumping into the world of the young ones or young inner parts”, we can facilitate deep processing through attuning to the child’s inner reality, their rhythm, imagination, and developmental needs.
Participants will learn to:
- Identify key elements of “setting the frame” in Brainspotting to support safety, attunement, and deep processing with children and young inner parts
- Demonstrate developmentally attuned strategies for engaging a child’s or young inner parts world (eg. presence, openness) to facilitate Brainspotting processing
- Explain why Brainspotting is particularly effective with young clients and young inner parts, and apply this understanding to increase clinical confidence and decision-making in practice
